Getting Started

This guide will help you get up and running with AkumuVPN in minutes.

Prerequisites

• Node.js 18+
• Git
• WireGuard installed on your system

Quick Setup

1. Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/akumuvpn/akumuvpn.git

1. Install dependencies:

cd akumuvpn
npm install

1. Build the application:

npm run build

1. Run AkumuVPN:

npm start

First Connection

After launching the app:

1. Enter your server credentials
2. Click "Connect"
3. Verify your IP has changed

Troubleshooting

Connection Fails

• Check your internet connection
• Verify firewall settings
• Ensure WireGuard is installed

Slow Speed

• Try a different server location
• Check your local network speed
